VegBox.jpg

For 2023/24 We Will Be Collaborating with Local Growers, Kirsti + Fraser From Old Mill Road Bio-Farm to Offer you a Weekly, beautiful, diverse box of vegetables Grown the Good Way.

We understand that by committing, you are taking a risk and a leap of faith in us and also choosing an alternative way to eat. For this we thank you so much! We are working our butts off to do you proud and make sure you are satisfied with our veg and our service. Our veg box customers will form the foundation of our market so we will make sure each week your boxes are jam packed full of goodness. This is not going to be a pick-up and run box scheme, we will be providing information about crops as well as recipes for you to try. Our boxes will contain veg you are used to, but sometimes we’ll throw in a funky variety that we know are delicious. We want you to be involved in the process and we can’t wait to get to know you as well!

Now to the nitty gritty!

| BOX SIZE + PRICE |

There is only one size available. If you’re single or a household of two, check in with a mate or your neighbours to see if you would like to split it. But if you’re one who eats shit tonnes of veg, you shouldn’t have too much of a problem getting through the fresh stuff.

Large
$50 a week
Mixed variety of seasonal veg + related recipes | Perfect for a household of 4 +

| PAYMENT STRUCTURE |

We’re gonna offer a few options here so we can cater to you and your capabilities. For some, the full upfront payment may be daunting, however this structure enables us as producers to be set up financially for the season and allows for more of a shared risk model (similar to that of a CSA) where both grower and eater share responsibility for the good food provided. Some weeks, there may be less in the box due to seasonality or weather, however this will be made up for in those months where veg is a plenty.

Payment Options

Full 33 week subscription
Full amount of $1650 to cover the whole season of boxes.

4 x 8 week subscription
4 payments of $400 every 8 weeks + $50 for the last week

Weekly
$50 a week | Cash or card on arrival

| COMMUNICATION + CHOICE + EXPECTATIONS |

We ask that you only sign up if you are committed to the full season of this box scheme. We understand the odd holiday here and there, however, if you know you are someone who might oscillate between weeks of being away or not eating as many vegetables, we’d really appreciate it if you find a friend or family to take your box for that week, or alternatively maybe shopping at the market for exactly what you need might be a better fit.

You will receive a weekly email from us outlining what is to be expected in your box that week as well as recipes of what the heck to do with what’s inside.
This will give you an opportunity to respond with requests to leave certain vegetables out and replace with others.

We plan on supplying you with a variety of different vegetables throughout the seasons to ensure you remain inspired and satisfied. A good mix of classics with some funkier varieties will be making an appearance.
Please trust us when we recommend a recipe with a unique + new ingredient, they won’t be dominating each week’s boxes but we can assure you they will be delicious.

| ADD ONS |

We are currently looking at options to collaborate with local producers to offer eggs and other products as add ons. We will keep you posted when we confirm which products we will have on offer.
